How do I Register my child for school in District 86?

All students must register each year whether or not the student is a current student in a District 86 school or a child who is new to District 86. Parents/Guardians, you will need to provide three proofs of residency. Click here for information regarding documents that can be used to prove residency.

Once your account has been created, the District will contact you to verify your information, and then your account information and instructions will be emailed. What is the Joliet Public School District 86?

Joliet Public Schools District 86 has shared the great work we are doing in the area of Early Literacy through visits to thirty local Early Childhood Centers. The District has provided these locations with similar activities and strategies that we use daily within our Pre-Kindergarten classrooms. It is important to continue to strengthen the school and home connection.

What is early literacy in Joliet?

Early Literacy - All Joliet Public Schools District 86 primary students will be provided with the instruction and support needed to achieve academic success of at least 90% mastery of grade level targets.
