Sadly, as you know, a Neptune Middle School student passed away unexpectedly last weekend.
As a precaution, the Neptune Township Police Department has been patrolling our buildings today and will do so again tomorrow. Additionally, Principals have reminded all staff members of internal safety procedures as well as visitor management expectations. It is very important that our students feel safe in our schools.
Dismissal times are: *Reminder, schools are closed June 17, Juneteenth federal holiday. Feel free to reach out to my office with any questions or concerns. As you know, the district will be closing the Neptune Early Childhood Center at the end of June this year.

I know that you have been anxiously waiting for the district’s decision regarding the lifting of the mask mandate. Once again, I appreciate your patience as we sift through the guidance and data. At this point, our data are indicating a very promising decline in the number of students and staff who are testing positive.
