Students use their Kenowa Hills email address and password to access their Canvas account. Students can click here to log in. Students work with their classroom teacher (s) to resolve issues with Canvas and other instructional applications.
To create a Parent Observer account, click here to go to the Parent log-in page. Once there, click the link in the upper right labeled “Parent of a Canvas User? Click here for an account.”
Parents can add the Parent Observer app to their Android and Apple devices and smart phones. Links for each platform are provided below for quick access.
GSRP (Great Start Readiness Preschool) and Daycare students who are Kenowa Hills residents: Follow steps 1-4 above. Families who live outside the boundaries of Kenowa Hills will need to apply for Schools of Choice to attend Kindergarten at Kenowa Hills.
Age Requirement. Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2021 to enroll in kindergarten or K-Knights for the 2021-22 school year. The K-Knights program is for students who are not quite ready for kindergarten but meet the age requirement. K-Knights attend all-day everyday Monday through Friday.
We offer career and technical coursework through the Kent Career Tech Center and Knights STEM Academy, which is the only classroom in the state that is within an advanced manufacturing business.
Strong academics are the basis for all of K-12 learning beginning with literacy, mathematics, science and social studies.
We work hard to support students so they succeed, including hiring the best staff to assist them. In addition, we have extended learning opportunities including after school and summer academic programs, as well as enrichment opportunities for those learners who want to dive deeper into an area of interest.
Early childhood is a crucial time in children's lives, a time when they engage in the world around them and learn the basics they'll use in school and beyond. Our Great Start Readiness Preschool program helps children prepare for school success.
Now, Knighthood can start even earlier! The Early Childhood Center (ECC) now accepts Knights as young as 6 weeks in our newly developed infant room! The ECC houses several programs including Community Education Preschool, Great Start Readiness Preschool, and a Daycare and Learning Center, which includes both before- and after-school childcare for children from kindergarten to fifth grade, as well as all-day childcare with educational enrichment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old..
Our dedication to Education Inspired starts with our youngest learners. Kindergarteners and Young 5s (known as K-Knights) students at Kenowa Hills experience a school culture and climate that supports learning. To enroll, your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2022.

Community Education Preschool gives 3- and 4-year-old children the opportunity to explore, create and interact with children their own age while learning to feel comfortable at school.
