Indeed, to be a Kent parent is to join a close-knit community, one which you are encouraged, like your children, to enjoy to the fullest. Although Kent is a boarding school, that does not mean that parents have limited involvement in their children’s lives.
Each elementary classroom has only 20 to 25 students, so our youngest students get personal attention and opportunities to explore a diverse curriculum, including STEM.
In addition to core subjects, students enjoy art, music, health, speech, life skills, engineering and science technologies, foreign languages and computers. Our students are engaged in all kinds of clubs, as well as 15 sports, such as boys’ and girls’ golf and lacrosse and girls’ volleyball.
Wide-ranging art, drama and music options include marching band, orchestra and choral groups. Student athletes can choose from 30 different sports, including golf, lacrosse, soccer, swimming/diving, volleyball, tennis and ice hockey.
