November 29, 2021 - Proceeds from Saturday’s performance of The Nutcracker will benefit arts programs in the Kershaw County School District. The 6 p.m. performance will be held in the Lugoff-Elgin High School auditorium.
To locate a child in the Address Portal the parent must have: Student Last Name, Date of Birth, Student ID, School District and School Name. The PowerSchool Student and Parent Portal is an online resource that students and parents can login to see attendance, schedules, and final term grades. (Note: Starting with the 2021-22 school year, KCSD will use Canvas for families to access daily assignments and grades.)
July 1, 2021 - The Kershaw County School District (KCSD) will open its online registration portal for the 2021-22 school year next week. New for this year's process is the ability for families to make payments online. Families of returning KCSD students—including families who completed their kindergarten students’ initial enrollment this spring—will receive registration codes and instructions via email to complete the online registration process. Families of returning students who do not receive student registration codes by July 8 should contact their students' schools for assistance.

P-EBT cards are expected to be mailed out by April 16, 2021 for students eligible for P-EBT benefits for the months of September 2020-December 2020. All P-EBT eligible students, including child (ren) in active SNAP households, will receive a new P-EBT card for the 2020-2021 school year.
