What is Kids Connection KTC?

Kids Connection (KTC) is the Johnston Community School District’s before and after school child care program. KTC is available for students in grades DK-5 during the school year and summer. The focus of the program is to provide enjoyable, motivating, and structured activities for students, along with offering enriching field trips.

What is the parent portal and how does it work?

The Parent Portal is a powerful, easy-to-use, secure communication tool connecting teachers, parents and students through the Kent ISD website. Up-to-date, online access to grades and attendance makes it easier for parents, teachers and students to accurately monitor, identify and accelerate student progress.

How do I edit my contact information in the parent portal?

To verify your contact information is correct, please login to your Parent Portal, navigate to “Student Data -> Contacts” to edit your contact information. Direct Link to Contacts in Aeries Parent Portal.

How do I access parentsqaure?

There are several ways to access ParentSqaure. You can access through a mobile device through the Aeries App or ParentSquare App or using your computer using the Parent Portal by clicking “Aeries Communications” or using the ParentSquare website if you setup an account from the invitation email.

How many modality options does Parentsquare have?

With providing your phone and or email, you can further choose how you want to be notified in those areas. ParentSquare allows you to set each modality as 1 of 3 options: Instant/Digest/Off.
