The Kutztown Area School District manages student academic data via a student information system called PowerSchool. PowerSchool is a web-based system that allows the district to administer a wide range of information which includes grade, attendance, course, assignment, and demographic data.
Kutztown Area High School is a public high school in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, United States. It was built in 1961, with an annex added in 1974 and underwent major renovations in 2016. It is part of the Kutztown Area School District .

This is because some grades in Canvas are only used for tracking purposes and are not transferred to PowerSchool.
For example, a pretest may appear in Canvas, but it will not be used in a student’s grade calculation in PowerSchool. However, some scores in Canvas may be carried over into PowerSchool for overall grade calculation; this is at the discretion of each teacher.
Due to the weather related school closures on January 7, January 20, and February 4, the Kutztown Area School District will be open for make up days on May 27, May 31, and June 1. These last three days will be be early dismissal days.
NOTICE is given that the Comprehensive Plan of the Kutztown Area School District for years 2022-2025 in its most recent form is available for public inspection on the District website and at KASD building offices, the Kutztown Library, and borough/township offices through November 14, 2021.
