How do I apply to LACHSA?

Admission to LACHSA is based on an audition or portfolio review process. Applicants are welcome to apply once a year between October and January, with auditions/portfolio reviews being held in February and notifications sent in March. Find out the audition requirements now to start preparing!

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Submit a completed online application by early January​​​ (You may submit up to two separate applications for two departments).

STEP ONE

Fully complete and submit online application including personal statement and letter of recommendation by the date listed above.

STEP TWO

Prepare for your audition. Upload your grades from the 2021 calendar year. Upload your pre-screen video or portfolio (if required).

STEP THREE

Come to your audition. Please check the audition date/s and requirements for the department for which you are auditioning.
