How do I become a substitute teacher in Lake Ridge schools?

Younger high school graduates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Each applicant must provide a completed application for substitute teaching to the Lake Ridge Schools Business Office. These applications can be picked up anytime Monday - Friday 7:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.

What you need to know.... Each Applicant must be age 21 or older. Younger high school graduates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Each applicant must provide a completed application for substitute teaching to the Lake Ridge Schools Business Office.

How often does substitute teacher training take place in Lake Ridge?

Each applicant must attend the Lake Ridge Schools Substitute Teacher Training. This training is offered twice a year. Failure to attend this training will disqualify you from employment.
