This year LUSD will implement the student, staff and parent CHKS surveys between November 1st and November 12th. The California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) is an anonymous, confidential survey of school climate and safety, student wellness, and youth resiliency. It is administered to students at grades five, seven, nine, and eleven.
LUSD has built an option for students who need more flexibility than what our traditional, 5 day a week, in-person instruction offers. Students receive synchronous instruction for all grade levels and live interaction for grades 4-8. If requested, transition back to in-person learning may be made within 5 days.
