Will LCSD 55 provide virtual academy for families?

LCSD 55 realizes that many students and their families are finding success with a Virtual Academy option. At this time, we are researching our ability to provide this learning option for our families for the 2022-2023 school year and are conducting a survey to determine interest.

When is the next LCSD 55 Board of Trustees meeting?

There may be additional updates during the week if there is a substantial change in the numbers on any given day. The LCSD 55 Board of Trustees will meet on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. in the large training room of the district administrative office.

Many parents who are working from home or the office may be trying to manage multiple work schedules as well as their child’s online school expectation . It is a lot! First and foremost, parents should take care of themselves. They should get rid of the energy drainers as well as some expectations of normalcy to accommodate this new temporary reality.
