Starting in the 2017-18 school year, Lawrence Township Public Schools is moving from PowerSchool to Genesis for our student information system. Genesis is the leader in web-based student record data for New Jersey schools.

How do I set up my Parent Portal at Lockport Township High?

After you have enrolled your first student at Lockport Township High School, you will receive a Parent Portal Activation Key. You will need this to set up your Parent Portal. Logging On

To access the login screen, click here to proceed to the Genesis Parent Access page . Bookmark this page in your browser for future access.

Summary

The first thing you will see upon logging-in to our system is the “Summary” at-a-glance page. This provides easy access to recent assignments, current schedule, and this week's daily attendance. At LHS and LMS, attendance is taken for each period, and this class-by-class attendance is available for parents to see.

Attendance

The details for daily attendance will be shown for the school year. Cass attendance will be show using reasonable span of time around the current date. You will be able to see absences, tardies and other codes.

Gradebook

If you click on the "Weekly Summary" icon the current MP average and number of assignment due this week for each class will be shown. The "List Assignments" icon will display a list of all assignment and their grade.

E-mail Notification

You can ask Genesis to send you notification when new grades are associated with your child’s account. In order to take advantage of this, parents have to opt into this feature using "Genesis Message Center" icon.

CPR Dates & Registration

Below you will find the upcoming CPR class dates for MSDLT employees. Classes are at a discounted price of $46.35 and must be paid in full online. If you have questions about the class, please call RESQ (317-786-7260). MSDLT only sets up times and dates for classes.

EdEx

Sponsored by the Lawrence Township School Foundation, the Educators’ Exchange ( Ed Ex, for short) is a retail-like store FREE for our Lawrence Township teachers and staff.

Kelly Educational Services

For LT employees that report to Kelly Sub Services, the operator system is not designed to accept absences within 24 hours of the absence. The system will not work in that timeframe. If an absence is within 24 hours, you must call the scheduling team at 1-866-Kelly-98 and speak with a live person. The scheduling team is available from 5 a.m.

License Renewal

The State of Indiana requires that a teacher have a valid teaching license on file at the beginning of each school year. The renewal of a license is the professional obligation of each individual teacher. Click here to check your license information and expiration dates.
