Does LCPs have a parent portal for students with students?

LCPS is not currently using those items. Parents with students at Lunenburg County Public Schools may apply for access to our parent portal. Simply contact your school's guidance department to start the process.

What is PowerSchool Parent Portal and how does it work?

PowerSchool Parent Portal gives parents and students access to real-time information including attendance, grades and detailed assignment descriptions, school bulletins, lunch menus and even personal messages from the teacher.

Can a parent use PowerSchool without a PowerSchool account?

Parents without a PowerSchool Account. If you are a new parent to the district and you do not have a traditional parent account, you will need to contact your student’s school and ask for your Access ID and Password. If you are currently using the existing PowerSchool Mobile App, no change or setup is necessary.

Where can I find PowerSchool in NC?

The program is made available through the N.C. Department of Public Instruction. The Parent Portal component of PowerSchool is a convenient Internet-based program that makes it easy for parents to monitor and track their child’s academic progress.
