When is Lee's Summit School District meeting 2021?

The Lee’s Summit R-7 School District Board of Education will meet for a special hearing at 5 p.m. on June 23, 2021, in the Board meeting room to consider the termination of a teacher’s contract.

When is the LSR7 school year 2021?

Registration for the 2021-22 School Year Opens July 22. LSR7 families will soon have the opportunity to enroll their children for the 2021-22 school year. Through the district’s online enrollment, families are able to complete registration from any location with Internet access.

Is on-line registration a required annual process for parents?

Yes. The district will require new and returning student families to complete this process on an annual basis. Returning student families will only be asked to verify existing information on forms pre-populated with the student information already housed in PowerSchool.

What information should I have on hand to complete online registration?

Parents should have all the following information at hand before beginning to fill out the information to avoid having to go to the school if a mistake is made.

What do I need to complete, and where can I complete the online registration process?

You will need any one of the following: desktop-computer, laptop computer, tablet, or smartphone with Internet capabilities.

What if I have a payment question?

Contact your individual school if you have any questions about the mandatory items or additional items for payment.

Do I have to upload proof of residency for each child?

Yes, the process to approve records is done on an individual student basis. Therefore, we need to see the residency file for each child. Example, if you have an elementary and middle school child you will upload the proof of residency document 2 times.

What are the residency requirements? Who mandates these requirements?

Board of Education policy and state law require that all students attending the LSR7 School District be permanently domiciled and living within the boundaries of the school district. Students must live with their parent (s) or legal guardian (s).

Who is Camille Lucito?

Camille received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Missouri Western State University in 2000 and her Masters of Science in Nursing with a certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2006 from the University of Missouri Kansas City. Camille has been practicing as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner in the Lee’s Summit area since 2008. Camille thrives on the smiles and hugs she gets from her patients and parents alike and is dedicated to providing quality care to all of her patients. Camille takes special interest in growth and development from birth through the preschool years but also loves building those relationships with the maturing teenagers. She and her husband stay extremely busy with their four sons and enjoy spending time outside of the office with them at their sporting events and exploring the outdoors on their beautiful ranch.

Grumke has special interests in preventative care medicine helping guide families through the many stages of a child’s life, medical education, asthma and infectious disease prevention as well as mental health care. Dr. Grumke enjoys the outdoors where you can find him cycling, running, or hiking in his free time.
