How much does Legacy Theatre save?

By purchasing tickets in advance, guests can save as much as $7 per ticket.

Can you text during a theatre performance?

Cellular phones, etc. must be silenced when in the theatre. Use of texting features are not allowed during a performance, as the ambient light is distracting to both the performers and audience.

Is the Legacy Theatre box office open?

The Legacy Theatre box office is only open on performance days, beginning 90 minutes prior to curtain.#N#Advance tickets may be purchased online, through the event links on our homepage (“click here for tickets”), or by calling our ticket agency toll-free at 1-800-838-3006.

Is the auditorium accessible?

There is an accessible restroom in the lobby, and the auditorium is wheelchair accessible. If anyone in your party requires special accommodations, please contact the theatre at 217-528-9760 to discuss your unique needs.

Is Legacy Theatre a non profit?

The Legacy Theatre is a non-profit organization and is run entirely by volunteers, and we are always happy to welcome new volunteers to the team. There are wonderful experiences available on both sides of the footlights. Please visit our Volunteer page to sign up.
