Musical Theatre is perfect for the dedicated performer at any level. This class will give students a basic understanding of the art of musical theatre, focusing on song & dance.
IMPROV is a fun, high-energy class taught by Emily Alexander (professional improvisor) and is perfect for the student looking to add skills and confidence to their theatre tool bag.
Vocal Technique is designed specifically for the musical theatre singer. This class will focus on proper warm-up techniques, vocalization, breathing and performance. Students will also learn to work cooperatively with a group, fine tune their vocal quality and learn to create correct notes and sounds within a theatrical atmosphere.
Acting 1 for ages 8-11 emphasizes confident performances, script analysis and ensemble cooperation.
BALLET & TAP COMBO is a fun class designed for ages 2-5. By introducing and developing the basic skills, terminology and movement of ballet and tap (all in a fun and disciplined environment), we hope to inspire our young dancers toward a life-long love of dance!
BALLET, TAP & JAZZ is a the next step (or beginning step) for dancers in Kindergarten through 1st grade. Our BTJ classes are designed to develop a love and appreciation for dance while growing in ballet, tap and jazz basic techniques.
BALLET is an important foundation for success in all styles of dance. We encourage all dancers to train in ballet! Our ballet classes are leveled according to a specific syllabus and progression through the levels varies on each student individually. Students are placed in classes based on experience and age.
TAP is high-energy, fast paced and fun! Tap is one of the core fundamentals of dance, that allows dancers to achieve a cohesion of rhythm and coordination while also having fun.
JAZZ is a fun and energetic style of dance that uses music and movement to develop strength, musicality and performance! Jazz focuses on specific alignment and placement of technique as well as coordination and style of movement.
LYRICAL (also known as contemporary) is a dance style that combines elements of ballet with the freedom, fluidity and expressiveness of jazz and contemporary choreography. Contemporary gives dancers the opportunity to express emotion and execute technique.
HIP HOP is a fun, age-appropriate and very high energy class that encourages individual style and creativity while learning and developing coordination, confidence and specific techniques.
We award dollar-for-dollar matching grants which act as a catalyst in raising further funds for homestudy-ready families. As donations come in for specific families, matching grant money becomes available.
Lifesong administrative costs are already covered, so every penny of received donations will go to help fund your adoption.
Upon completion of your homestudy, you are eligible to apply for adoption funding. Complete and submit an application requesting a matching grant or interest-free loan along with fundraising support.
When you give to support adoption, you help families bring their children home.
