Elementary students in Gwinnett County schools will receive only 2 Report Cards per year. This is more in line with middle schools and high schools. Students will also receive 2 additional Progress Reports each year. The Report Cards will be an Official Document, and will become a part of each child's Permanent Record with GCPS. The Progress Reports will include more detailed information about the student's grade and progress, and are intended to help the student and parent have a clear and up-to-date assessment of the child's progress, and also to identify areas the student needs to improve PRIOR to receiving the Report Card. Report Cards will be issued at the end of each semester (December and May) Progress Reports will be issued at the end of the first and third 9-week intervals. Please retain student Report Cards in a safe place for your records, as these are official documents.

Outside food is not allowed. Please do not bring food from home or from a restaurant. If you wish to pack a lunch for your child, please send it to school with him/her in the morning.
