Homework is time set aside each night by the student to extend and develop their study skills and to prepare them for senior years. Students are expected to do home study every day as independent study habits are crucial for a successful VCE.

A Student Absence Line for each sub-school (Junior, Middle or Senior School) is available for parents/guardians to ring (9735 5644) and record their child’s absence each day prior to 9.30 am.

If it is necessary for a student to leave before the end of a school day, a signed note written by a parent or guardian must be given to the Year Level Office Assistants prior to recess who will issue an Early Leavers Pass.
Students are expected to regularly attend school as per Education Department policy. There is a direct link between students’ school attendance and their level of school achievement. Parents and Guardians are asked to ensure their son/daughter attends every school day. The school is required to monitor student attendance including receiving explanation from parents/guardians for student absence and lateness. Year Level Co-ordination team members and Home Group Teachers will be in contact to follow up approved and unapproved absences and any overall attendance concerns.
Volunteers and Parent Participation 1 Parent participation within classrooms and the school community is widely encouraged. 2 See your child’s teacher to discuss ways in which you can take part. 3 A Volunteers Guidelines and Agreement form is available from the office along with the Department of Education Visitors and Volunteers policy.
Students need to order lunches to be delivered to the classroom. Parents are encouraged to support the canteen by volunteering to work on the canteen roster. This may be an infrequent visit, or a regular commitment.

School Association. This group has a very strong management role in the school’s broad goals and operation. Members are elected annually and the School Association is made up of parents, community members, staff, students and the Principal. These people are the parents’ contact with policy, planning and decisions made in the school.

The Canteen ordering system has changed. We will be offering ONLY online or classroom orders starting on the first day of Term 1 (Wednesday, 9th February 2022).
