The Line Mountain School District has entered into a new partnership with Community Aid called the Virtual Partnership. Line Mountain School District will now receive $.06/lb instead of $.04/lb for all clothing that you take to any of the Community aid donation centers using Line Mountain’s partner number #30145 for the appropriate credit.
Because area farmers answered the call, Grow Rural Education has awarded Line Mountain School District with a $10,000 grant. The Line Mountain Middle / High School is one of the many schools across the country that has benefited from the Grow Rural Education program.
The Line Mountain High School Key Club recently collected items in the Fall of 2020 for the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital in Danville. On December 3rd, the club delivered 7 boxes to the Children’s hospital. These boxes contained toys, books, chalk, bubbles, coloring books, activity books, model building, paints, puzzles, wrapping paper, and more!
Kindergarten Registration for the 2022-2023 school year will be held at the Line Mountain Elementary School in Trevorton on March 15th and 16th. Children must reach the age of 5 by September 1st, 2022. Please phone the Elementary School for an appointment: 570-797-3825
Due to Covid-19, our in-person activities have been moved online in order to keep all of our campers and volunteers safe. This virtual ZOOM Camp will be offered to all grieving kids ages 6-12 at no cost. Registration is required and a link with login information will be sent to each camper.

The Line Mountain Middle School LINK team presented a “ Random Act of Kindness Day ” in September. To promote random acts of kindness, students participated in a lesson which included a video viewing, instruction, and examples. Students were given a calendar to record daily random acts of kindness they performed throughout the month.
Line Mountain Middle School students recently participated in Red Ribbon Week, a nation-wide campaign dedicated to encouraging students to pledge to live drug free. The foundation of this campaign is in honor of fallen Special Agent “KiKi” Camarena.
