What is the registrar's office?

The Registrar's Office processes grades, graduation clearance, verifies enrollment, processes transcript requests, and administers academic policies.

Can you use Haven Dollars on a student's credit card?

Parents can make a guest deposit to add flex to your student’s account with a credit card. Please note - Flex Dollars are not the same as Haven Dollars. Haven Dollars are put on the student's ID card and can be used with on-campus vending, laundry, and at the bookstore.

The Student Accounts Office generates your student bill, processes refunds, processes payments made to your student account, and works with Nelnet Campus Commerce to provide a monthly tuition payment plan option to students.

How long does it take for a student to get a financial hold?

Financial holds will be placed on unpaid student accounts approximately two weeks after the start of class. Late fees will be assessed on unpaid student accounts approximately five weeks after the start of class. Please be sure payment is received as soon as possible to avoid receiving a late fee.

What does a student bill reflect?

Your student bill reflects registration, housing and meal plan information, as well as scholarships, financial aid, and other payments made to your student account. Any changes to your course schedule, room and board, or financial aid package will have an impact on your student bill and may result in charges due.

How many square feet are there in Beckerman Center?

The $15.5 million Beckerman Center at the University of New Haven is a comprehensive 56,500 square-foot Student Recreation Center that includes Two Multi-Purpose Group Fitness Studios, Weight Room and Fitness Center (6,000 square-feet), Two Racquetball Courts, Two Hardwood Activity Courts (with capabilities for basketball, volleyball, & badminton), Multi-Activity Court (with capabilities for basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, floor/roller hockey, and various other activities), Jogging Track (1/10 of a mile), NRgize Juice Bar, Men’s, Women’s and Individual Use Locker Rooms.

Is the University of New Haven a Division II school?

The University of New Haven has one of the finest comprehensive athletic programs in the North east Region , with a rich history and tradition of advancing to both conference and NCAA postseason tournament play. We have been a proud member of NCAA Division II since the early 1980's and continued the D-II tradition by joining the prestigious Northeast-10 Conference during the 2008-09 season. Charger student-athletes have represented the University of New Haven with class and dignity throughout the Department of Athletics' long history, producing Hall of Fame coaches and student-athletes that have gone on to professional careers as players, coaches and administrators. Chargers have earned All-America awards for their hard work on the playing fields and Academic All-America honors for their persistence in the classroom.
