How many parent positions are there in Longfellow School Site Council?

The Longfellow School Site Council (SSC) has four (4) parent positions open for the 2021-2022 school year. If you are interested in running for a parent position in the School Site Council, please send a brief 1 paragraph statement as to why you would like to be considered to Mr. Sigur at esigur@lbschools.net.

When is the last day of school for Longfellow Lions 2021?

Longfellow will also be sending a video promotion to all 5th grade families recognizing our 5th grade Longfellow Lions via SchoolMessenger! Wednesday, June 16 , 2021 - Last Day of School. June 16th will also be a district scheduled minimum day.

Can a student be revoked from after school playground?

Under such circumstances, parents/guardians will be not ified and the student’s after school playground privilege may be revoked. However, if the student feels it is necessary to return to the school campus due to safety reasons, the student must go directly to the office and/or speak directly with a coach.

Children staying on the playground after school may not leave campus for any reason except to go home. After school students are not to leave campus then decide to return. For example, a student may not leave campus and return with food purchased at a local establishment.
