It’s not difficult for Rodney Allen to easily keep up with the latest at LSMSA since retiring. As the father of the first Legacy Member of the LSMSA faculty, Dr. Allen is proud that his daughter, Associate Lecturer of English Emily Allen, PhD (‘00), followed in his footsteps in serving on LSMSA’s faculty.
As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.

Throughout her life, Sue Rosenthal (‘85) has been pleasantly surprised to discover various sources of strength. From achieving high test scores to being accepted into advanced programs, Sue still recalls those early achievements. And while she doesn’t rest on her laurels, she does allow her past achievements to serve as reminders that she has what it takes to tackle hard situations.
