New Orleans was the host city for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) 2016 National Youth Gathering. From July 16th – 20th more than 25,000 Lutheran youth and their leaders spent time attending educational sessions, worshiping together, and serving the greater New Orleans community.

Aquarium of the Americas Volunteer. Lutheran High School Sophomore, Gia Veau-Neely, participates each week as a youth volunteer at the New Orleans Audubon- Aquarium of the Americas to educate the visitors on penguins, sharks, and other deep sea creatures.
