Annually in July, we will refresh our Magnus Health portal for the new school year. The benefits to this change include less paperwork for parents to complete each year and having more accurate information that is accessible to parents and the appropriate staff at La Pietra.
Click on the "Students" tab. Click on the blue "Add" button on the right side of the screen. Fill in the "Student Access Information" and click "OK." Once you have set up your PowerSchool account and have successfully logged, you can now access the Magnus Health Portal.
Simple online form submission ensures higher compliance for schools, while automated email reminders keep parents up-to-date on approaching deadlines. The Magnus solution is set to seamlessly integrate with your current SIS system, and your student and parent information automatically syncs with Magnus.
Take a picture of any health form and upload the JPEG image right into the Magnus account from any ‘smart’ device.
Automated email reminders are triggered when there are incomplete form requirements, generating an email notification to parents.
Parents and guardians can utilize the Magnus Communication Center to correspond with the school’s Health office regarding their student’s care.
Below is a gray button labeled “Complete Blair's 2021-2022 MAGNUS HEALTH FORMS.” Click this while holding “control” and select “open link in new tab” and you will be granted secure access to the links and forms needed to complete Blair’s enrollment process (while not losing the instructions page you started on and will need to refer to throughout the process).
You will now be logged into the Magnus system so you can access and print all required forms (New Jersey state pre-participation physical form, tuberculosis screening form and immunization form) and any other forms that may apply to your child (see below). Bring these printed forms to your healthcare provider.
Establish an account with North Warren Pharmacy . This is important, even if your child does not take daily medications. In the event your child becomes ill or needs over-the-counter medications or prescriptions, Blair will obtain any necessary supplies or medical devices from North Warren Pharmacy.
Students receiving mental health services at home should have ongoing care during the academic year. If you need assistance coordinating mental health support while at Blair, we encourage you to contact Blair’s Director of Counseling Ally Thomas at (908) 362-6121, ext. 5687, or thomaa@blair.edu, prior to registration.
If you have questions about accessing the 2021-2022 health forms, this PDF walks you through the process from the very beginning.
