MPUSD Makes Move to Keep 6th Grade at Elementary Level Beginning in 2021-22. On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, our Board of Education discussed and approved the decision making timeline for the reconfiguration and consolidation of MPUSD schools.
All-In Monterey County partnered with CAPrx to make vaccinations available to MPUSD students 16 years & older at Seaside High on Wednesday, April 14 from 2 - 6 p.m. Parents will have the opportunity to speak directly to a pharmacist and address any concerns. Parent/Guardian/Adult MUST be present in order for 16 and 17 year olds to receive the vaccine. Parent consent form required in order for student to receive the vaccine. GEAR UP will be hosting a workshop for our 12th-grade families on April 28th at 6 pm. We will have representatives from MPC's specialized programs (FYE, TRIO, EOPS) and UCSC Transfer Preparation Program.
Coach Joe is Marina Football's Head Strength & Conditioning Coach. He also owns MPF Training Systems. Coach Joe works with our student athletes on a daily basis to get them in the best possible shape they can be on and off the field.
Parents can play many roles in sport: current or former athlete, coach, fan, motivator, role model or critic. A few studies have shown that family members may influence an athlete’s involvement and achievement in sport more than coaches. Parents also are the first and most critical agents at socializing sports.
