A Message From the Principal's Office..

The school year is under way, and the MAMS Family couldn't be more excited! The month of September got us off to a great start and provided a portent of exciting activities to come.

School Visitor Procedures

Safety and security are a priority here at MAMS. The Board of Education recently approved a new policy for all visitors to adhere to. You can find a 1-page summary of these procedures by clicking here.

Spruced Up Spaces

This summer the MAMS hallways got a makeover. All hallways were freshly painted and new bulletin boards were installed throughout the school. Check out the pictures below:

Elevate Education

On September 7th and 8th, all MAMS 6th graders participated in a seminar on "Study Skills". In addition, that information was presented to the faculty on September 19th with strategies for reinforcing those practices in class. Our goal is to "norm" note-taking and organization so that all students follow the same system.

Reminder: Check Agendas & Parent Portal

Every student should have their agendas with them throughout the school day. Please make sure to check them on a nightly basis to keep up with your child's homework. Also in the agenda are school rules and policies.

STAR Testing

All students took the STAR assessments for reading and math. Reports were sent home on September 28th with your child.

Late Bus

Just a reminder that a late bus is available for students at 4:15pm every day after school if they participate in a club or activity. The form is online, and computers are available in the cafeteria.
