What is the MCAD login?

The MCAD login is a "single sign-on" service which gives students, faculty and some staff* access to the following services: An MCAD email address, which is your MCAD username + @mcad.edu, and all accompanying Google Workspace services (such as Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Meet, etc).

Is the MCAD login connected to Paylocity?

The MCAD Login is not connected to Paylocity, and it is not the same as the account students use to apply to MCAD. For detailed information on resetting your password, see this article. If you already know your password but would like to change it, you can do so here.

How to authorize parent access to MCAD?

To authorize parent access, login to your myMCAD student dashboard and complete a FERPA Form for individual parents, and/or third party payers.

What is the MCAD food plan?

Resident Student Food Plan. MCAD recognizes the importance of healthy eating and easy access to food for academic success for students. While MCAD’s residential apartments provide fully equipped kitchens, MCAD also has an on-campus cafe serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks on weekdays during the academic year.

What is the MCAD business office?

The MCAD Business Office provides tuition bills, sets up student accounts, and collects tuition, housing fees, and other charges and payments for all students. They also help with setting up tuition payment plans as well as bookstore accounts.

How to validate MCAD?

All MCAD students pursuing a degree must validate their enrollment by completing the online Disclosure and Enrollment Agreement form. This electronic form is a required document that must be completed before registering for classes, from the myMCAD registration page.

What will students be emailed after course registration?

Students will be emailed important instructions regarding online access to their tuition bill and payment options after course registration.

How long does it take to activate a parent account?

Parent account activation may take up to 24 hours to process, depending on when they are submitted. For faster processing, students are encouraged to complete activation requests during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday and before noon on Friday. Students.

What is a MCAD login?

Your MCAD Login refers to a username and password that you'll use to access all MCAD related systems and services. For most people, your username is the first initial of your first name followed by your whole last name. If a pervious user already had a username with your first initial and last name, your username will be your first initial, last name and last three digits of your Student ID number. Usernames are not case sensitive. The MCAD Login is not connected to Paylocity, and it is not the same as the account students use to apply to MCAD.

How to get access to MCAD?

A department chair/director may request early log-in access for a newly hired adjunct faculty member who is expected to teach in the upcoming semester by filling out the MCAD Technology Account Request Form and the adjunct faculty member signing an acknowledgement letter administered by Academic Affairs. Access to Blackboard/Canvas may not be granted more than 30 days prior to the first pay day of the semester in which the adjunct faculty member will teach.

What is the email address for MCAD?

An MCAD email address, which is your MCAD username + @mcad.edu, and all accompanying Google Workspace services (such as Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Meet, etc). You can log into your email at mail.google.com. You must enter your full address, username@mcad.edu, in order to log in, unlike most services which only require your username. What is a long MCAD Gmail address?

Finally, active users will also have a "long" MCAD Gmail address that is a secondary, optional way of addressing your emails and correspondence. This secondary address is called an “alias,” and all email that is sent and received by this address goes into the exact same inbox as your primary, short MCAD Gmail address.

What is an adjunct faculty email?

Adjunct Faculty: Adjunct faculty who are instructing a for-credit course in the undergrad/grad degree program will receive an @mcad.edu email account. Adjunct faculty members will receive an email account during faculty orientation, pending completion of all necessary HR paperwork and entry into the HR/Payroll database. Adjunct faculty email accounts will be disabled one year after the contract end date. The contract end date is maintained by HR/Payroll and usually coincides with the week after the end of the semester.

When will staff accounts be disabled?

Staff accounts will be immediately disabled on the date of termination.

Can you reset your password on MCAD?

Students who need to set an MCAD Login password for the first time or have forgotten their password can use the student password reset form. Faculty can use the faculty password reset form. Staff must contact the Help Desk directly for a password reset.

When do you have to complete the waiver form for MCAD?

If you already have health insurance coverage and do not wish to enroll in MCAD's Health Insurance Policy, you must complete the online waiver form, following the steps below, on or before August 1st!

When is the MCAD waiver deadline?

WARNING: You will be responsible for purchasing the MCAD health insurance policy if you do not complete the online waiver form by the August 1st waiver deadline! WARNING: The MCAD Health Insurance must be waived each year, prior to the August 1st tuition deadline, even if you have waived the insurance in prior years.

Does MCAD accept Visa?

MCAD gladly accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. Please be advised that convenience charges will be added to each credit card transaction and are the responsibility of the payer. This includes debit card transactions featuring the Visa or Master Card logo.

Who must contact the Director of Student Accounts prior to the published tuition deadline?

Students expecting or requesting payments from outside sources such as the Department of Veteran Affairs educational benefits, state sponsored 529 college savings programs, employer education benefits, brokerage firms, bill-pay services, charitable organizations (outside scholarships), or other third party entities must contact the Director of Student Accounts prior to the published tuition deadline to verify payment arrangements.

Does Max Plan automatically renew?
