The goal of the District’s Parent Portal is to create an open portal of communication between teachers and families to more easily work as a team in supporting each student’s learning.
Your initial log-in information for the Parent Portal will come via email. If you haven’t received your username and password, please reach out to your school’s registrar to make sure they have your correct email address and have granted you Parent Portal access in the system.

Parents/guardians requiring Portal assistance should contact their child’s school. If the school is unable to assist you, a school employee will submit a HEAT Self Service Incident on your behalf. To obtain the PIN number, the parent must provide school personnel a picture ID for verification. Parents must complete the “Parent Portal Identification” form (F-M7052E 10-06). The completed form will be filed in your child(ren)'s cumulative folder at their school.

Parent Portal PIN information is available by following these steps: • Log on to Whole Child at https://wholechild.lausd.net. the Student/Parent PIN Roster button in the upper right corner of the screen.
With a parent pin, authorized users only have access to make payments, payment history and balance on the student accounts. They do NOT have access to financial aid, grades, or other online student information.
Students will be able to reset their password 24/7 by accessing the website at: https://studentsreset.dadeschools.net. Once the personal questions have been created, students can reset their own password.
The MDID will display on your myMDC portal when you login. If you have forgotten or lost your MDID, you can log in to your myMDC portal to view it. You may also visit the Admissions & Registration Office at whichever campus you attend and a staff member will supply it for you.
