How do I retrieve my MISTAR parentconnection login information?

Parents can retrieve their MISTAR ParentConnection login information by clicking the reminder link (Reset Your Password) at the ParentConnection login site and entering the email address that we have on file for you. A password reset will be immediately emailed to you.

What is MISTAR?

Welcome to ParentConnection and Sault Ste Marie Area Public School's Student Information System, MISTAR! ParentConnection allows you to navigate your child’s record.

When will MISTAR-Q be migrating to a new server?

Oakland Schools will be migrating MISTAR-Q to new servers. This will require server downtime. The migration will begin Thursday, November 25 (Thanksgiving) at 12:00 PM and could end as late as Sunday, November 28 8:00 AM. This means that all modules, including Parent Portal, Student Portal, and SEEFS, will be offline during this timeframe.

Family Access Login for Parents

Your parent PIN and password provides access to food service information, food service account deposits, parent contact information, student grades, and attendance for all of your children, all in one location. Your login information stays the same each year, so be sure to save your PIN and password in a safe place.

SchoolPay Access

This program is an online payment format for payments like banquet tickets, prom, AP exams and summer school. It gives parents and students an easy way to conveniently make school-related payments online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Email Notification for ParentConnection

Sign up for email notifications of student school news, attendance, assignments and report cards 1) Log into ParentConnection and click on the Email Notification tab in the Welcome bar 2) Select which email notifications you would like to receive and click Submit.
