What is the MISTAR Parent Portal?

The MISTAR Parent Portal is a Web application that provides parents with direct access to student data via the Internet.

When will MISTAR-Q be migrating to a new server?

Oakland Schools will be migrating MISTAR-Q to new servers. This will require server downtime. The migration will begin Thursday, November 25 (Thanksgiving) at 12:00 PM and could end as late as Sunday, November 28 8:00 AM. This means that all modules, including Parent Portal, Student Portal, and SEEFS, will be offline during this timeframe.

What is the new parent portal app?

Our New App will allow the parent to view report cards, submit attendance and when Back to School Online Registration is open you will now be able to complete the process in the Mobile App. If you have any qustions or problems with Parent Portal please email us at parentportal@wsdmi.org or call 248-682-2648.

Parent Login Information

Parents can retrieve their MISTAR ParentConnection login information by clicking the reminder link (Reset Your Password) at the ParentConnection login site and entering the email address that we have on file for you.

Email Notification for ParentConnection

Sign up for email notifications of student school news, attendance, assignments and report cards 1) Log into ParentConnection and click on the Email Notification tab in the Welcome bar 2) Select which email notifications you would like to receive and click Submit.
