Khalifa in Year 7B is an aspiring scientist. Today he is making his own indicator using cabbage to test the acidity or alkalinity of a liquid. After making the indicator, he used it to test different liquids to test whether they are acidic or alkaline. When he adds the indicator to an acid, it turns red and if the liquid is an alkalaine it will turn blue. If he adds the indicator to a neutral substance, such as water, it should turn purple. Well done Khalifa! We look forward to more experiments in the future.
