What is Illuminate Parent Portal?

The Illuminate Parent Portal is a feature of the MPUSD student information system and provides parents/guardians immediate access to grades, assignments, attendance records, and now State testing results in an effort to facilitate and improve communication between home and school.

How often are grades posted in Illuminate?

Secondary: At sites that use the Illuminate Gradebook, grades will be posted by the teacher at the minimum, every two weeks. Remember, the teacher's grade book is a "snapshot in time" and not necessarily an accurate reflection of the student's overall progress or performance.

Is Illuminate Parent Portal secure?

Is this system secure? Yes, the system requires an individual user name and password for each parent/guardian. In addition, the Illuminate Parent Portal has SSL encryption. The username and password should be kept confidential by parents/guardians. Who may access the Illuminate Parent Portal?

Can I access Illuminate from anywhere?

Can I access the Illuminate Parent Portal from anywhere? Yes, you can access the Illuminate Parent Portal from any computer/smartphone/device with Internet access. I have multiple children in the district. Can I have access to all their accounts under just one username and password?

Students and staff at MPUSD continue receiving access to equine assisted therapy through local partnership

The Monterey Peninsula Unified School District has created a partnership with The Equine Healing Collaborative based in Carmel Valley, CA to offer equine assisted therapy to students and staff. This is part of many services offered through the district's multi-tiered systems of support.
