The Illuminate Parent Portal is a feature of the MPUSD student information system and provides parents/guardians immediate access to grades, assignments, attendance records, and now State testing results in an effort to facilitate and improve communication between home and school.
Secondary: At sites that use the Illuminate Gradebook, grades will be posted by the teacher at the minimum, every two weeks. Remember, the teacher's grade book is a "snapshot in time" and not necessarily an accurate reflection of the student's overall progress or performance.
Is this system secure? Yes, the system requires an individual user name and password for each parent/guardian. In addition, the Illuminate Parent Portal has SSL encryption. The username and password should be kept confidential by parents/guardians. Who may access the Illuminate Parent Portal?
