Montville Public Schools is comprised of three neighborhood elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12) with an offsite alternative high school program. The district offers a pre-K and transition program for residents of Montville based on need.

What documents are used to verify the age of a student?

If an original birth certificate is not available, other examples of documents which may be used to verify the age of a student are: a photocopy of a birth certificate, earlier school records, state-issued identification document, passport, parent’s affidavit or unsworn statement to a student’s age, a physician’s certificate verifying a student’s age or immunization records.

Can a parent enroll a minor in Montville?

Once you have completed the online enrollment process and submitted it, you will be contacted by Montville Integrated Preschool staff to schedule an appointment to finalize enrollment. Only a parent or legal guardian may enroll any minor student. The following documents will be required to enroll your child (ren):

How to contact parent access in Montville?

If you continue to have issues signing in please e-mail parentaccess@montville.net or call the Parent Access Hotline at 973-331-7100 x2699. If you call please leave your name spell your email address, and give a call back number. If your account has been locked out resetting your password will not unlock your account.

How to get text messages from parent access?

In order to get a text message you must have your cell phone number entered on the contact page along with your cell phone provider. To set up alerts from within your Parent Access account. Click on the Home tab in Parent Access. Click Message alert setup.

What information do you need to know about your child's grades?

Depending on your child’s grade level you will have access to some or all of the following information: Your child’s schedule, daily attendance record, and class attendance. Your child's marking period, mid-term exam, final exam and final grades. Your child’s report cards. Your child's teacher's gradebook grades.

All students in grades 6 - 12 have their own access accounts. Because of this there is no need to let them use your account or give them your password. Student accounts do NOT have the ability to delete contact information or sign forms electronically, but they can see everything else the parent account can.
