What a short but sweet week! We started with 2 snow days and ended with playing in our pajamas. Free play allows children to play making their own rules as they go along and creating new limits within their own boundaries. Sledding at Wiggin Street

It's that time of year again! Students at Wiggin Street have had a long tradition of being allowed to sled at recess during the winter months. Preparation is everything, so sending in a trash bag and appropriate winter clothing makes one happy student! Check out the sledding rules below as well as appropriate dress.

2021-22 School Fees

School fees are assessed and must be paid every school year. Elementary school fees are $30 per student. You can pay by credit card or bank draft on-line using the PayForIt.net website, or you can pay by sending a check, cash or money order at Wiggin Street School or the MVCSD Board Office.

Yearbook Sale January 17th-28th

Yearbooks will be on sale next week and are $16.00. Order envelopes will be going home on Tuesday, but they can also be ordered online at this site.

Winter Weather

Please remember that students will go outside on days where the temperature with wind chill accounted for is at or above 20 °f. Be sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather each day. Coats, hats, and gloves are necessary at this time of the year. Boots are required for playing in the snow.

Thrive Kids

At Thrive we are working on helping the students to become leaders in the gym, in the classroom, and anywhere they go. In order to be a successful leader we must be able to recognize the needs around us because leaders SEE others. We discussed the importance of being aware of those around us and using our words and our actions to help.
