Public School Open Enrollment - Students outside the MPS district may apply to MPS schools during Open Enrollment (beginning in February). For more information, visit the Open Enrollment page of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction website at www2.dpi.state. wi.us/OpenEnrollApp.
Check your email account for the confirmation key (numbers or letters) as you will need it only the first time you login to the Parent Portal. Log into the Parent Portal and enter the confirmation key. This completes the Parent Portal registration process.
The Parent Portal, part of our new Infinite Campus student information system, offers parents and families 24/7 access to view their child's information including attendance and grades.
Beginning August 24, 2015, you may gain access to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal by visiting your child's school.
Parent Portal allows you to access current information about your student’s attendance, grades, assignments, schedule and transcript.
Your child’s student ID number (Example: 34567; this can be found on the student’s schedule, an old report card or the student’s ID card)
Browse through the list of ongoing or short-term and one-time Volunteer Opportunities. Consider whether you have a preference for working with elementary, middle or high school students, or if you are interested in working with a particular group of students or type of program.
You must complete the online volunteer application process before volunteering for on-going opportunities. The volunteer application collects basic contact information as well as details that will help schools ensure you are a good match for their needs. You will receive a confirmation email once you have successfully submitted your application.
After connecting with the school or site where you have applied to volunteer, you will be asked to attend a Volunteer Orientation . This hour-long session will give volunteers information on the district, the role volunteers play within the district, guidelines for volunteers, and tips for volunteering in the classroom.
Once you have attended the Volunteer Orientation you will receive an email giving you an official offer to begin as a volunteer! Once accepting this offer, you are ready to get started!
