You will receive an e-mail directing you to StuInfo when your bill is available for you to view/pay.
A $10 fee will be charged whenever you defer tuition for a semester. There is also a finance charge of 7.9% per year on any unpaid tuition balance. You will be charged additional fees for late payments.
If the amount you need to pay on your registration bill (first bill for the semester) is zero, you must still confirm your attendance in StuInfo. If you fail to do this, your classes might be dropped!
Deferred payment plan. You may choose the deferred payment plan if you maintain a good credit record with the university. You may defer up to one-half of your tuition (including tuition-related fees) and up to two-thirds of your room and board charges. The deferrable amounts are outlined on the registration bill.

Students will initiate this in the MSU Student Information system, beginning June 21, 2021. Guests will then receive an email and must follow the instructions to create the guest account.
What happens if a bill is not paid on time? 1 A late fee of $30 will be assessed on August 15. 2 A financial hold will be placed, preventing class registration and the issuance of an official transcript or diploma. 3 If the initial bill for a new semester is not paid by the due date and a payment plan has not been set up, you will risk being disenrolled from your classes on the 3rd day of class.

Students can now delegate additional guest access in SIS. Students can define access for their Academic Progress, Academic Records, Classes and Student Accounts tiles. To make changes to guest access, click on the My Profile tile and Share My Info Electronically in the left navigation to update those options.

eChecks: eChecks are MSU's preferred payment method and are accepted online with no service fee. eChecks are a fast and simple payment method that can be made from regular U.S. checking and savings accounts.
Student/Payer can save a profile of their credit card and e-check information for future use if they want to. This is not mandatory, but convenient when using the same credit card or bank account to make future payments.
MSU has arranged for a third-party processor to accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express payments online through QuikPAY. The processor charges a 2.7% service fee for credit and debit card payments.
