MyEducation BC (MyEdBC) is the Information System used by the Ministry of Education in Langley School District and in most school districts in the province. The MyEdBC Family/Student Portal is another way in which students and their parents/guardians can access information about their educational programs.
The Vancouver School Board is committed to parent, family and community engagement, and it is our hope that by providing this tool on our website that we are making our information more accessible to families whose first language is not English and thereby enabling better engagement in public education.
Report Cards are posted electronically by PDF in the Parent portal. Parents will need to set up an account to use the Reporting Parent Portal. Please click on the links below to access instructions, tips, and resources.
You can log on to MyEdBC Family Portal from any computer that connects to the internet.Find the MyEdBC link at our website. ( www.sd35.bc.ca)Enter your login ID and Password.The first time you log on, you will be prompted to change your password.
Your Login ID: Student – firstname.lastname@student.sd73.bc.ca Parents – this is the email you provided to the school. Login Tips: The Temporary Password: DO NOT copy/paste the password – the copy process sometimes adds a space.
MyEducation BC (MyEd BC) is a secure student information system set up by the province of BC. Security is guided by the rules and regulations of the School Act and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA). Both parents and students have access to the MyEd Family Portal.

Your username will be your universal username (UUN) that you use to login to other services such as email. For students, your UUN is always your matriculation number prefixed by the letter "s" e.g. s0912345.
Upon successful attainment of the Graduation Transitions Program, "Requirement Met (RM)" will be recorded on the student's transcript.
A passing grade is considered to be a C or above. These types of courses also do not count towards your GPA because there is no letter grade to assign a numerical value.

Report cards are printed from the class list (Gradebook top-tab, Roster side-tab) or from the Student top-tab.
On the right-hand side, middle of the screen you will see “Published Reports”. A pdf link to the Report Card will be listed under the filename. Click on the link—your child's report card will open up in another window.

Enter a new password. At least one number • At least one capital and lowercase letter • At least one symbol that is not a letter or number • Cannot contain password, login name, first name, middle name, last name, date of birth, personal id, or only sequential letters or numbers. Enter the new password again. Click OK.

After three (3) unexcused absences within any month of the current school year, a conference will be held between the principal, student and parent to analyze the causes of the student's absenteeism.
Did you receive an email from MyEducationBC containing your MyEducationBC Login ID and Temporary Password? If not, please email Hannah.Santillan@sd41.bc.ca with your name, your child (ren)’s name (s), and a contact number.
The Burnaby School District has produced reference materials for related to logging in and general portal use. These can be viewed at http://blogs.sd41.bc.ca/myedbc/parent-resources/.
Click on your user name in the upper right-hand corner and drag down to “Set Preferences”.
If you have previously logged into your account before but have forgotten your password, click the blue “ I forgot my password ” link on the log-on screen.
If you mistype your password 5 times, the system will automatically disable your account. If your account is disabled, please contact the school office or email Hannah.Santillan@sd41.bc.ca with your name, your child (ren)’s name (s), and contact number to have your account re-enabled.
If you mistype your email address or the answer to your security question 3 times, the “I forgot my password” function will be frozen. Email and security question are also case sensitive. You must enter your email address exactly as it was set up in your security preferences.
