Once a login is established, parents will have access through the Parent Portal Login. *If a parent already has a FERPA waiver on file, the student will follow these same steps, but click Update on the existing parent under Actions and add an email address for the parent.
By the student providing an email address of the parent/guardian, the student is authorizing Mississippi State University to grant access to education records to the parent/guardian through the University's Parent Portal online system.
Enter your Parent Portal User ID (email address) and the password that you previously created. The password should never be shared. All pages are personal and confidential. Parents of dependent undergraduate students may be eligible to borrow a federal Parent PLUS loan. A FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) must be on file for the student for the aid year in which you intend to borrow.
Students can grant permission to parents or other interested parties to view their financial aid awards online via StuInfo. The guest must have a valid email address. Due to privacy regulations, only the student can grant this permission. For more information, see our guest access page.
To verify a caller’s identity when discussing private financial aid information over the phone, the Office of Financial Aid requires that the person first answer a set of security questions in StuInfo . All students who receive financial aid and wish to discuss their private information with our staff by phone must complete this process.
