A child must be at least 5 years old by December 1, 2022 to enter Kindergarten in the 2022-2023 school year. Starting in February, the Nanuet School District will begin to register incoming kindergarteners for the fall.

To register your pre-school age (3-5) child for Special Education Services you must first be referred to the Committee on Pre-School Special Education. Once your child is referred a registration packet will be sent to you. All parents seeking services for their child must register them in person.

Universal Pre-K. The Universal Pre-K Program is a FREE 2 1/2 hour 5 days a week program for 4 year olds. In order to qualify for this state funded program children must be age 4 on or before December 1st and live in a district that offers UPK. Nanuet School District offers UPK.
