Parents of Returning Students to NBISD - You may have noticed that we pushed back our back-to-school online registration to start a week later than normal. This is due to our Student Information System provider pushing out a major update to their system. This update is being built on an entirely different platform, rebranded and redesigned.
NBISD offers an iPad Protection Plan for NBISD parents. Normally, it is just offered to grades 6-12 since those grade levels are the only ones who take the devices home.

Our provider is still working on a few issues inside online registration, so we currently do not have the Ascender Parent link up on the website. Once we get it published, we will let you know. NBISD has licensed the Frontline Health Portal to provide you with convenient, 24-hour online access to items in your child’s health record. Using a secure username and password, you can view district-designated health information, communicate with our health & wellness staff, review/sign forms, and even provide the district with new information from outside health services received by your child.
Your Username is the personal email that was provided to the school district and that you used to activate the portal account.
Enter your primary email that you have provided to the District. Select the blue button “Send me a temporary password.” You will see a green checkmark and confirmation message, indicating that a temporary password email has been sent with the Subject: “Your temporary password for Frontline Health Portal.” (Please check your email’s spam folder if you have not received the email in 10-15 minutes.)
Our Mission for NBISD students is to “engage, empower and learn.” We believe this must include a student-centered classroom with an emphasis on Project Based Learning.
