North Carolina Virtual Academy Now Accepting Enrollment Applications for the 2021-2022 School Year
For the SY1718, NCVA drew students from 107 of the State's 115 LEAs and has served 97 of the State's 100 counties. Both figures are the highest in the short history of our virtual school. *Last year enrollment was capped at 2160 across all grade levels (K-12).

USA Volleyball has decided to continue use of SportsEngine (SE) as their Member Management System. If you did not participate in the 2020-2021 Season, you no longer have access to your Webpoint account and must create a SportsEngine account.
All Clubs, new and returning, must complete the SportsEngine Club Registration/ Sanctioning Form.

A “family” SportsEngine account must be created for any family participating with NCVA/USAV. SportsEngine accounts operate like a “Household.” Before attempting to create an account for an athlete, first an account must be created with the Primary account holder who MUST BE A PARENT/GUARDIAN.
Per USAV’s policies, any member who will turn 18 before the end of the season (8/31/2022) will register for the 18s player membership because they will need to take SafeSport during the season. However, the member is still eligible for the 17U age division
Junior male athletes who are 17 years old and under participating in any volleyball activities until September 1, 2022.
Junior female athletes who are 17 years old and under participating in any volleyball activities until September 1, 2022.
You can now download the Instructure’s Canvas Parent app in both the iTunes and Google Play stores.
Parents and facilitators can also access their students’ courses through their computer’s web browser. The setup process is similar to the Canvas Parent app. See the directions below.
You are now applying for admission during the open enrollment window. Open enrollment will be from March 1st, 2021 through April 15th, 2021. NCVA has a capacity of 2592 students in grades K-12 for the upcoming school year.
Upon conclusion of a lottery, all applying families must complete an official registration within the NCVA parent portal within 10 days. Families not completing the parent portal registration during that window may surrender their position.
