Elementary School District 159 (the “District”) is located in Cook County, Illinois and serves portions of the communities of Matteson, Richton Park, and Tinley Park. The student population of 1,935 is served by five sites: four grade schools- Woodgate, Armstrong, Yates, Sieden Prairie and one middle school, Colin Powell.
Due to the inclement weather, we will extend e-learning through Thursday, February 3rd. Our goal is to ensure the safety of our students and staff while providing meaningful and continuous instructional opportunities outside of the classroom. Welcome to our school! I am so pleased to welcome our new students as well as our returning students. We have made many recent improvements to our campus and we continue to expand our extra-curricular programs to ensure that all students may make the most of their time and explore a broad variety of interests.

The recognition is based on the results and feedback collected from hundreds of Gates Chili CSD staff and faculty members. It recognizes the input of staff and faculty, highlighting the strong and positive culture we all work to create at Gates Chili.
Mrs. Mucino has been a Gates Chili Spartan since 2012, serving as an AIS teacher at Paul Road Elementary School and, most recently, assistant principal at Walt Disney Elementary School.
The previous guidelines for a return to school required a ten-day isolation period. It was confirmed today that new guidelines adopted by Monroe County will apply to schools as well and the isolation period has been shortened from 10 to five days for staff AND students.

The PTA is an active organization at Paul Norton Elementary, facilitating a wide array of social, fundraising, and service activities. All Paul Norton parents are encouraged to join the PTA and are welcome to attend the monthly meetings. Business meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, alternating morning and evenings. Your ideas and input are appreciated.
Bettendorf Community School District has a long standing history of strong parental and community involvement in education. Parents and families are important in the success of our students. We encourage parents to participate in their children's education as well as volunteer, and/or participation in our schools' parent organization (s).
