What are the parent organizations at Nerinx Hall?

All parents of Nerinx Hall students are members of our parent organizations – the Fathers Club, Mothers Club, and Parent Network. These organizations exist to involve parents in the Nerinx Hall community, to provide for parent/student activities, and to offer support for parents.

What are the hours for Nerinx?

For the 2020-21 school year, building hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Students arriving to school before 7:30 a.m. must report to the EAC. Desks will be spaced 6 ft apart to allow for independent study. Students arriving after 7:30 a.m. should report to their designated homeroom and sit in their assigned seats. If students are in the building after 3:15 p.m. each day, they should report to the Library, unless participating in another supervised Nerinx activity.#N#Students will not have access to the building on weekends or non-school days unless they are involved in a supervised Nerinx Hall activity.#N#A student should use her entry card to allow her access to the building from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each regular school day. Students are responsible for their unique entry card and homeroom moderators will conduct random entry card checks.

Can you park in front of Nerinx?

There is no student parking allowed in the front parking area at any time, except for the two special spots purchased at the auction. All spaces are reserved for Nerinx faculty and staff. Parents may use the marked visitor spots on the circle drive when visiting school during the day.

Can you tow a car without a Nerinx permit?

Any car without a Nerinx permit is subject to towing. Students should only park in their assigned parking spaces. If there is someone else parked in a student’s spot, the student should make note of the license plate and report it to the main office, and the student will be given a permit to park in a visitor’s spot.

Empowering Women Since 1924

Founded in 1924, Nerinx Hall is an Independent, Catholic, college-preparatory school for young women in the Loretto charism of loving service. The mission of Nerinx Hall is to cultivate empowered women who pursue academic excellence within a diverse community, forge a path towards social justice, and grow in knowledge of themselves and their world.

Alumnae Spotlight

I'll be graduating college in May and it's a weird and scary feeling, but I know I am ready for my next step. I look back at my time in school and I know Missouri State has prepared me for my future career, but Nerinx Hall prepared me for the person I want to be.
