Applicants to our Kindergarten program must be at least 5 years old by Aug. 31 old of their year of entry. As a member of the Fairchester Independent School Group, New Canaan Country School uses a Common Application known as the "SAO" (Standard Application Online).
Children ages 4 and above are eligible to ride the bus; the anticipated bus charge is $2,500 for those living outside of New Canaan; the charge for those living in New Canaan is less – estimated at $1,500, since the town is required to contribute toward the cost of transportation for all town residents.
Families can expect the same level of support throughout each child’s years at Country School if their demonstrated need remains the same. The financial aid grant is likely to change if the family situation changes significantly.
