The New English School, (N.E.S.) was founded by the late chairman, Mr. Tareq S. Rajab and was the first private, co-educational day school in Kuwait to offer a British style curriculum from Kindergarten to A level.
All students in NECSD have been set up with a student portal account. Their account access has been standardized. Parents will still need to follow the process of ID verification for portal access. This is a good general link that provides them basics and some how to set up for notifications once in the portal.
The New English School believes in the overall development of its students through academic, physical and personal growth. Playground facilities consist of two football fields; one of which is for the primary year students.

The School’s clinic is manned by a medical team comprising a full-time medical doctor, a male nurse and a female nurse. A dentist visits periodically to promote oral hygiene and care.

New English School pupils are taught to ask simple questions, observe, perform and test simple experiments and investigations. They use a variety of simple equipment to help them in their observations, and they suggest answers to questions.
P.E. (Physical Education) taught by specialist P.E. teachers. The lessons focus on developing children’s physical skills through a range of physical activities. Pupils learn to be active for sustained periods of time, in addition to learning how to lead healthy active lives. A range of equipment, which the pupils learn to handle effectively, is used to develop a variety of skills.
Communication with parents is one of our highest priorities. Parents are kept continually informed about activities within each year group. This includes providing information regarding activities within school, curriculum information and the development of each individual pupil.

The Infant library is a fully functioning lending library, and our Infant librarian supports children, helping them select books to borrow on a weekly basis. In Year 2 children have the further opportunity to attend a variety of after school clubs that include sport, art and craft, music and computer activities.
It is important that children have experience speaking English outside of school in order to develop their fluency.
The school experience does not finish with lessons at the end of the day. New English School offers a huge range of extracurricular activities available to all pupils in years 3-6, ranging from sports clubs, through to music, art and even a friendship club! The clubs run for 8 weeks each term.
