Kayli won the Martin Luther King, Jr. Poster Contest for the High School Division. Kayli is in the 9th grade at Niceville High School and takes 2-D Studio Art 1 with Emily Day.
One hundred and ninety-three students at Niceville High School have earned the designation of 2019 AP Scholar by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement Program exams.
Maya Sherwood, a junior at Niceville High School, was recently awarded the Cambridge Scholar designation by the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England. Maya gained high marks in the USA in the May 2019 AICE examinations over three or more Cambridge International AS Level subjects and is awarded the Cambridge Scholar Award with Scholar.

Freshman Orientation/NEST is still ON for July 29th and 30th. Just a reminder, the orientation is for students only.
As we move forward into the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year, we are hoping for the best - but preparing for whatever may come our way. This plan was prepared to provide the safest possible resumption to what we now call “normal” school. What we can assure you is that we will continue to provide your student the highest quality education.
Making sure our Freshmen are excited and prepared for the first day of high school is very important to us. We WILL have our annual Freshmen Orientation; however, because of the current situation, it will look different than our traditional program.
As we are beginning to move through the reopening of Florida and resume some semblance of our school lives again, recent current events have shifted my thoughts further away from the business of school life at NHS and more towards being a more effective leader to our students in regards to understanding differences between ourselves and others.
A feature within the Parent Portal allows parents to keep track of their child's grades by email notification. Simply sign up for the email notification by clicking the “Set up Email” link after you log in to the Parent Portal. A verification email will be sent to you and will contain instructions regarding the set-up process.
Access. To access your student's grades, you will need a UserID (Student Number) and password. If you have lost or do not know your UserID and password, you can obtain one by completing the MIS 4339 Form and returning it to your child's school.
