Children attending Niskayuna schools must be residents of the school district. Children of future residents may be enrolled providing the parents/guardians show evidence—in the form of a construction, purchase or rental agreement—that guarantees residence within three months. Learn how to register

The district utilizes a communications system known as School Messenger to provide parents and community members with important announcements and timely alerts. There are alerts for general district news, weather-related closings, School Board news, pool communications, Continuing Education, and the High School Pool.
While parents do not need to go through the sign-up process outlined below. They are already connected to the system through the student management system and can manage notifications in the “School Messenger” area of the Parent Portal.
We encourage community members to sign-up to receive messages from the district! If you do not currently have children in Niskayuna Schools, you will need to go through the registration process below. This will allow you to select general news, School Board notices, snow day alerts, and/or Continuing Education messages.
