How does a parent/guardian get a PowerSchool Portal account for a currently enrolled student?

How do I add another student to my PowerSchool Portal account?

Once logged into your Parent Portal account, scroll down and select Account Preferences on the left side of the screen. Choose the “Students” tab.

Why can't I see transportation info?

Transportation information is only visible on the web version of the PowerSchool Portal. The app was not designed by PowerSchool to access transportation information.

What is the District Code to activate the app (iOS or Android)?

The District Code to activate the app is TQNF. This information is also viewable on the bottom left of the landing page on the web version.

How do I change a student's address?

New proof of Novi Community School District residency is required. Please contact Central Enrollment at 248-675-3430.

Why isn't all of my students' information appearing?

We are still migrating legacy information from our previous system to PowerSchool.

Parent Login Information

Parents can retrieve their MISTAR ParentConnection login information by clicking the reminder link (Reset Your Password) at the ParentConnection login site and entering the email address that we have on file for you.

Email Notification for ParentConnection

Sign up for email notifications of student school news, attendance, assignments and report cards 1) Log into ParentConnection and click on the Email Notification tab in the Welcome bar 2) Select which email notifications you would like to receive and click Submit.
