At Nyack High School, we offer a rigorous academic program with a variety of elective classes students can choose based on individual interests and goals.

Who is eligible for the Nyack early childhood education program?

Families who live within the Nyack Public School District with children who will be four years old by December 1, 2022 (born between December 1, 2018, and December 1, 2019) are eligible. This early childhood program is conducted with qualified teachers and an assistant in every class at no cost to families.

What is Nyack School District doing about the Pearl River incident?

The Nyack School District and Board of Education stand firmly and resolutely with our student athletes in the wake of the racist and reprehensible behavior displayed by members of the Pearl River community at Wednesday night’s basketball game.

Who are the Nyack Indians?

Local Native American History Project - Ms. Murphy's and Mrs. Mallie's 7th Grade social studies class! If you were to rewind the clock to a couple of hundred years ago, you wouldn’t find the town of Nyack. Instead, you would find the Nyack indigenous tribe who used to love and live on the same land that we now call home.

Students in Biomedical Innovations wanted to know "Does listening to music while studying improve memory?," so they designed an experiment to find out. (The short answer: NO!) Check out their full investigation in the presentation here.
