How secure is the parent portal?

The Parent Portal is a part of Online Scout Manager (OSM) which is used by most Scout Groups in the UK. The system has been designed from the start to be as secure as possible – and uses the same encryption and security methods as major banks and other secure websites.

What can I do in the parent portal?

The Parent Portal gives you access to: A list of upcoming events and the ability to indicate attendance The badge status for their your child along with an image indicating where they should be sewn onto the uniform Review a list of emails that you should have already received The ability to make a Gift Aid declaration (when requested via email)

Click Leader Access in the Section Settings menu on the left. Enter the email address of the person you want to add in the box and click Add New User – if they already have an OSM account they will simply appear on your permission list; if not you need to enter their name.

How do you play Top Eleven with friends?

If you wish to invite your friends to play Top Eleven, you can do it by sending invites. This option is available on the Home screen, when you swipe left and allows you to send invitations to your friends via different platforms.

How do you play friends on Top Eleven?

Remember you can invite your friends to play Top Eleven and find all the ones who already joined the game by going to the third tab of the "Friends" screen (mobile device) or to the "Invite" tab (web browser).

The first screen you will see when logging in will be the Dashboard, this will show an overview of your Childrens activities coming up in the next few weeks with meetings and events.

Noticeboard

When clicking on your Childs name it will show some more menu options, the first of which is the Noticeboard – we can use this to show messages about updates from Leaders etc so please check this screen from time to time when visiting.

We are currently working on this feature and this option will be released soon.

The events section will contain details for all the camps and trips which are organised throughout the term.

Programme

We always have a very exciting range of activities planned for each section every term.

Here you can track the progress of your childs badge work through scouting.
